Ode to School.
Well, not excatly, but this semester has been full of it. A little update on my family and I: I'm still working, going to school and training for the OKC Memorial Marathon http://okcmarathon.com on April 27th! Mom and Dad are doing very well... dad was sick for a long period of time, but the Lord is good and we are all well. Stephen has a full plate of school for him this semester filled with tough courses required for his degree. Melissa is going to school, working at Bath and Body Works and still teaching piano! Katherine and Sarah are still both being homeschool by my amazing mom. Kathy's birthday is actually today... she is 17 years old! I really can't believe! It's so neat to see how the Lord is working in each one of our lives!
Please keep Paul Renes in your prayers -- he was taken to ER yesterday due to some internal bleeding in the esophagus. He will be staying there for his second night in a row (tonight). The Hughes - Horn family -- with the loss of little Elliot on January 21, they are needing prayer and comfort. My Summer Plans -- I have not quite decided what to do, but I do know that the Lord is in control and I am just trying to listen to Him!
Hope your first month of the New Year was blessed!
My buddy, Sarah, and I on our way to Wichita last weekend (I think I was at a stop sign... :-) )
it's Me... I was trying to do a little PhotoShop Magic????

Anna and I went to the Tulsa Zoo on New Year's Eve!!

Dallee Rose, asleep after a long day!

Simon and Ethan... Thanksgiving Day!

It's Simon! I had to crop this picture... look at those blue eyes!

This was Thanksgiving Day! It was really hard to me to smile, because I just had my wisdom teeth taken out... :(

Please pray...
For all who know the Hausmann family (who live in Atchinson, KS) please be praying for them. Four of the kids were in a auto accident late Thursday night in Waco, TX. Here is the article from the TX news station:
(January 11, 2008)—The accident happened before just 10:00pm Thursday, on Interstate 35 in Bellmead near Loop 340.
Police say two tires from the wheels of a south-bound 18-wheeler trailer came off of the rig and crossed the median. One of the tires struck a north-bound Honda Accord. The impact apparently had enough force to cut the passenger compartment of the vehicle in half.
The driver of the Honda, 23-year-old Luke Hausmann, of Atchinson, Kansas, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Three other passengers, ages 16, 19 and 20, were all taken to a local hospital. One of the passengers is still listed in critical condition
DPS closed the interstate, diverting all traffic to the access roads while emergency crews worked to clear the wreckage.

Well... it's 7 days into the year of 2008.
The Lord is so faithful. Constanly giving me things that a lowly sinner, like myself, does not deserve.
I just wanted to wish everyone a Very Happy New Year.

Please let me know if I can be praying for anything.
